1. Shady Rays
I have mentioned Shady Rays before in my gift guide for mom, but they are awesome for dad too!
A dew of my favorite things about Shady Rays Sunglasses:
- Durable – My husband and I are both rough on sunglasses, and these have held up really well!
- Polarized and Affordable – Polarized sunglasses tend to get expensive. All of the Shady Rays’ sunglasses are polarized, and are offered at a great price point.
- Lifetime Guarantee – Lost, Stolen, or Broken it doesn’t matter! They have an incredible return and replacement product that I have taken advantage of a couple of times.
- A large selection of style options – There are many different styles to choose from. This includes the option to get prescriptions.
2. Andar Leather Goods
Andar Leather Goods offers a wide variety of items such as wallets, phone and laptop cases, backpacks, toiletry bags, and more. Their leather goods are great quality and stylish, and they offer a year warranty on all their leather products.
My husband personally uses the Pilot wallet, and he really likes it! (Keep in mind that he has gone through a bazillion different kinds of wallets. ha!)
Check out some of their gifts for men on their website here.
3. Hey Dude Shoes
Hey Dude Shoes are hands down my husband’s favorite shoes. (In fact he has so many of them I’ve lost count! Ha!) And I’ll admit, I love them for myself too. Hey Dude shoes are so comfortable, and they come in many different colors and styles. Additionally, they are so light and airy which makes them especially fabulous in the summer heat.
4. True Classic T-shirts
You may have seen these ads on Instagram before. In fact, they can be quite hilarious. And I am here to tell you that these shirts live up to the hype.
Now, I realize that a t-shirt may seem a little boring for a gift. However, these tees really are awesome. My husband loves how they fit, and that they don’t cling to his body.
So, if the dad in your life appreciated comfy clothes, that fit just right. This may be the perfect gift for him!

2. Cards Made By Kids
One really great thing about this idea is that you can make these with things you already have at home. As a matter of fact, anything that kids make for dad is special! Making cards can be a simple activity for kids, and something that dad will love to receive from his loved ones.
3. Cook His Favorite Meal
Steak, seafood, barbecue, hamburgers, pizza, sub sandwiches, the list can go on an on. Whatever his favorite food, take the time to cook it for him! After all, they say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!

4. Some Time “Off”
I will admit that this can be a tough one for me. Sometimes as moms, our plates are so full that we feel like we are the only ones who are really working hard. However, the truth is that dads work hard too. A dad’s work may look different than a mom’s, but dads are human too. Dads need a break sometimes too.
Giving Dad some time “off” may look like just taking the kids out to the park for an hour or two so he can enjoy some quiet. However, you choose to go about it, I am sure that he will appreciate it.
5. A Heartfelt Note or Letter – So He Knows How Much He is Appreciated
Similar to what I mentioned above, Dad’s need to feel appreciated too. Dad’s work hard to provide for their family, and to be there for them. Sometimes simply feeling appreciated can go a long way. (Think about how you may feel sometimes.)
A letter or note may not seem like much, but I am sure that dad will love to hear about how he is appreciated and loved.
